1. Copyright

a. SEI Users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of articles. Reproduction is authorised, only if the source is acknowledged.

2. Plagiarism code

a. Articles submitted for publication should have not been previously published.

3. Language

a. Articles and all appendices are accepted in English only.

b. Manuscripts should be concisely written with strong consistency and coherency in order to appeal their significant findings to SEI Users. (also see 8. Non-native English authors)

4. Material submission

a. All manuscripts should be submitted electronically by online submission system.

5. Formatting

a. For the optimal communication, failure of below formatting requirements would result in instant resubmission. Authors are responsible for any consequent delay or rejection during the review/editorial process.

b. All materials should conform to styles in the latest Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), including the presentation of statistics data (e.g., M = 4.3, SD = 2.4; t(4) = 23.5, p < .01; F(3, 10) = 76.4, p < .05), the in-/direct quotations, the in-text citations, and the reference list. (see http://www.apastyle.org )

c. Unless manually composed with no error, the in-text citations and the reference list should be composed by means of using reference software such as Endnote, Zotero, Mendeley, or any alternatives for complying with the APA style.

d. A submitted article for publication must restrict its length to 5,000-8,000 words, including tables and references.

e. Manuscripts should be written in 12 pt font-size and doubled-spaced on A4 paper with every margin of 2.54 cm (1 inch).

f. The first page of the manuscript is the Title Page and should carry the title, the author (s) name (s), affiliation, address, and e-mail.

g. The second and later pages should carry the title, the abstract, the five key words, and the main manuscript removing any author information for blind reviews.

h. A concise and informative abstract of no more than 200 words must be provided.

i. Sections (e.g., 1. Introduction, 2. Literature review, 3. Methodology, 4. Findings, 5. Discussion and conclusion, 6. Appendices, etc.) should be clearly and coherently divided with all headings numbered (1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, etc.).

j. Authors are encouraged to include relevant diagrams, graphs, tables, and photos to illustrate their articles (see 6. Supply of artwork and photos).

k. Materials should arrive by using Microsoft Word.

6. Supply of artwork and photos

a. Diagrams and graphs should be provided as finished black and white line artwork or electronic images.

b. Electronic graphics included in your manuscript should be either inserted in the word document or as .gif or .jpg formats. Please check with the editor if you wish to submit any other type of graphic for conversion suitability.

c. Photos should be supplied un-screened in original form or in electronic form.

d. All illustration (diagrams, graphs, tables, photos) must be fully captioned and mentioned in the body text.

e. When there are a number of illustrations, the author should endeavour to reduce the amount of text to accommodate the illustrations in the limited space available for any article.

7. The Review Process

a. Submitted manuscripts are reviewed anonymously by 2-3 international referees. All tracking of manuscripts and reviewers is done by the editor and associate editor.

b. SEI will not accept submissions previously published elsewhere through print or electronic medium.

c. They will be reviewed within three months after e-mail submission to the editor.

d. Manuscripts will be returned to the lead authors when each review is completed.

8. Non-native English authors

a. For the optimal communication, these authors are recommended to prepare their manuscript through composing around-150-word paragraphs, placing a main sentence at beginning of each paragraph, and using proper linking words between paragraphs.

b. In addition, please have the manuscript edited by a professional English proofreader before submitting it.

c. Depending on its quality, a manuscript could instantly be returned for resubmission which asks to resolve such language issues.

9. Inquires

Please check with the editor if questions arise. Upon receipt of the electronic submissions, a confirmation will be e-mailed to the primary author only. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within one week, please contact with the editor.
